New HK-Zhuhai ferry service
starts:
A new ferry service between the Hong Kong International
Airport and Jiuzhou in Zhuhai has been launched. Two roundtrip
sailings carrying up to 1,300 passengers will depart Jiuzhou at
9.30am and 3.30pm and leave the airport at 11.15am and 5pm everyday.
The frequency of the 50-minute service will grow to three roundtrip
sailings each day by August.
These are the three other most common routes for international participants to reach the Conference Hotel.
Route 1:
From Hong Kong Airport. By underground or taxi to KowLoon Port, then
by hovercraft ferry (200 HK Dollars) to ZhuHai (~70 minutes), then
taxi to hotel from the port ~5 minutes, ~10 Yuans RMB
Route 2:
From Macao Airport. By taxi to the PRC Board Control (~20 minutes).
Then by taxi to Hotel ~20 minutes, ~20 yuan RMB
Route 3:
From ZhuHai Airport (assuming flying via a domestic service within
China). By taxi ~45 minutes, ~130 Yuans
